From Olympic activities, to color runs, to learning new things and concurring challenges, we can not believe that 2024 summer camp has come to a close.  Thank you to our campers, families, and staff for a fantastic summer where we made new friends, learned new skills and made a life time of memories. Here we are at the final session of our 2024 Summer Camp Session. Our campers continue to make new memories, have fun and enjoy outdoor fun. We begin to say our goodbyes to counselors returning to school and to new camp friends. We start to look forward to the excitement a new school year brings. We won't forget the friends, fun and memories we experienced together. We continue to enjoy these final days of our summer camp time together and look forward to seeing you all again.

This week, we announced our Huntington and Glen Cove camp locations have added an additional week of fun (Aug. 26) before the school year begins. Registration for this week can be added in your parent dashboard.

As session 3 comes to a close, our campers are ending it with a bang! The excitement is in the air as they come together to celebrate Y Guy's birthday, a beloved member of our camp community. With his infectious energy and positive spirit, Y Guy truly makes the Y a fun place to be. In addition to the birthday festivities, our campers have been busy participating in the final activities for their Olympic games. From the colorful and exhilarating color run to creating beautiful arts and crafts, they have been showcasing their creativity and teamwork. Not to mention, they have been honing their swim skills, learning new techniques and gaining confidence in the water. And let's not forget about our pre-teens and teens, who had the opportunity to explore off-campus activities for some added fun and adventure. It's been a session filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Here's to a successful end to session 3 and looking forward to the adventures that await in the next session!

As Session 3 kicks off, the YMCA Summer Day Camp continues to keep the fun going! Here’s a look at the exciting activities and events across our various camp locations.

As we roll over from session 2 to session 3 at camp, the excitement and anticipation are palpable in the air. The fun-filled days of adventure, friendship, and growth continue as campers embark on new activities, make new memories, and forge deeper connections with their peers. Session 3 brings a fresh wave of enthusiasm and energy, as campers dive into new challenges and experiences. From arts and crafts to sports and outdoor adventures, there is something for everyone to enjoy at camp.

YMCA Summer Camp Session 1 has been a blast! With more fun in the sun and cool activities to beat the heat, our Pre-Teen and Teen campers had the time of their lives exploring beyond the camp grounds on exciting trips. Meanwhile, our little campers and youth campers enjoyed a variety of fun arts and crafts activities and special in-house programs. From working on their swimming skills to trying out new sports, there was never a dull moment at camp. The best part? Seeing the smiles on the campers' faces as they made new friends and created lasting memories. Summer camp at the YMCA truly is the place to be for endless excitement and adventure!
