Session 2 started with energy, creativity, and lots of new friendships! Day 1 was packed with excitement as campers jumped into sports, crafts, Gaga Ball, and friendly gaming competitions in the video game lounge. The playground was buzzing, and lunch turned into a cheerful picnic with friends.

Even when the rain rolled in, we kept the fun going indoors with dancing, crafts, rainy-day relays, and plenty of laughter. From STEAM experiments to classic games of Jenga, campers turned a rainy day into a memory-making adventure.

Our Teen campers took on Dave & Busters for Trip Day, while some Pre-Teens cracked codes and beat the clock during their first Escape Room experience—everyone escaped and celebrated with a well-earned treat!

Our Sports & Youth campers brought their A-game both outdoors and indoors with spirited soccer matches, friendly basketball games, and a whole lot of teamwork. Week 3 was a home run!

Meanwhile, our Pre-Teen and Teen campers also went on thrilling trips to Monster Mini Golf and Lucky Strike Bowling, and the entire camp got a special visit during Touch A Truck Day! Campers had a blast exploring police cars, fire trucks, and even a mail truck. Add in Sports Star Dress Up Day, and you’ve got a week full of nonstop fun. We’re off to an amazing start—and can’t wait to keep the momentum going next week!

What a week at Glen Cove! Campers came together for an exciting round of Camp Olympic Games, where teamwork, cheering, and friendly competition were in full swing.

Our Pre-Teen and Teen campers ventured out on amazing trips this week—heading to Tiki Action Park for some high-energy fun, creating beautiful ceramic pieces at Claynation, and spending time soaking up the sun and sea breeze at Morgan Park’s shoreline. From artistic moments to beachside adventures, the week was packed with variety and excitement.

Whether campers were bowling strikes, racing go-karts, dancing in the rain, or making new friends over arts and crafts, Week 3 of YMCA Summer Day Camp reminded us all what summer is all about—joy, discovery, and connection.

We’re so grateful to share this journey with our campers and families. Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you Monday for more summer magic!
