This year, we're focusing on Kindness & Caring, Respect & Honesty, Teamwork & Responsibility and Leadership & Respect. These themes are designed to create a nurturing environment where children learn the importance of empathy, integrity, and collaboration. By engaging in activities like kindness challenges, teamwork games, and respect-building skits, campers not only have a blast but also develop essential life skills that will benefit them long after camp ends. Through these sessions, we aim to empower each camper to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.  [YMCA Summer Day Camp Team](https://campblog.ymcali.org/author/ymca-summer-day-camp-team) [Read More](https://campblog.ymcali.org/camp-themes-are-here) ![](https://campblog.ymcali.org/hubfs/Username.png) [Summer Camp,](https://campblog.ymcali.org/tag/summer-camp) [Education,](https://campblog.ymcali.org/tag/education) [Camp Life is the Best Life,](https://campblog.ymcali.org/tag/camp-life-is-the-best-life) [YMCA Long Island,](https://campblog.ymcali.org/tag/ymca-long-island) [Locations,](https://campblog.ymcali.org/tag/locations) [Camp Do's and Dont's](https://campblog.ymcali.org/tag/camp-dos-and-donts) ### [Helpful Camp Reminders](https://campblog.ymcali.org/helpful-camp-reminders) Jun 21, 2023, 10:19:00 AM We can not believe that camp is NEXT WEEK!
