Week 5 marked the start of a brand-new camp session, and our campers jumped right into another exciting week filled with creative theme days, unforgettable trips, hands-on activities, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends and lasting memories. 

Patchogue Family YMCA Summer Day Camp

It was a week full of imagination and fun at Patchogue! Our Kiddie Camp celebrated with exciting themed days including Stars & Space Day, Halloween Day, Valentine's Day, and Camp T-Shirt Day, bringing smiles and creativity to every activity.

Our Youth Camp joined in the fun by dressing up for Out of This World Day, Dress Like You're 100 Day, and Star Wars Day, showing off their creativity and camp spirit.

Our Pre-Teen and Teen campers had an action-packed week exploring new places with trips to Great Skates, the Planetarium, and the movies to see Toy Story 5. Our FGA Ninja campers also spent time giving back by participating in a beach cleanup, helping care for our environment while learning the importance of community service.

One of our favorite moments this week was recognizing campers who were caught doing something kind! Congratulations to our campers who earned Snack Shack Bucks for showing kindness, respect, and helping others throughout the week.  

Huntington YMCA Summer Day Camp

Week 5 kicked off with excitement across every age group at Huntington! Kiddie and Youth Camp enjoyed creative dress-up days including Career Day and Space Day, along with an action-packed in-house Laser Tag experience with our friends from Long Island Laser.

The fun continued as campers wrapped up the week by rocking out during Rockstar Day, showing off their best performances and camp spirit.

Our Teen campers explored their creative side during a trip to Claytime, where they painted unique works of art, and also visited the Huntington Historical Society to learn more about the rich history of our local community.

Meanwhile, our Pre-Teen campers enjoyed an exciting trip to Monster Mini Golf & United Skates, and later in the week joined the Teen campers for an unforgettable day at Dave & Buster's.

Back at camp, everyone stayed active with slip-and-slides, sports, arts & crafts, games, and plenty of outdoor fun as they settled into another fantastic camp session. 

Great South Bay YMCA Summer Day Camp

Our Great South Bay campers had an amazing week celebrating creative theme days like Halfway to the Holidays and a fun-filled Halloween Spooktacular.

Campers also enjoyed exciting visits from PicNic Entertainment, whose interactive activities brought smiles and laughter all week long. One of the biggest highlights was our on-site Camp Carnival, where campers enjoyed games, activities, and plenty of fun with friends.

Our Pre-Teen campers split up for two exciting adventures, with some testing their problem-solving skills at Just Escape, while others enjoyed a day of roller skating at United Skates. Teen Camp also laced up their skates for an energetic day on the rink.

Our Sports Camp and Youth 4th Grade campers stayed busy on-site participating in photography, swimming, sports, and other engaging activities. Even with a little rainy weather, the fun never slowed down, and campers continued enjoying their regular schedules. 

YMCA at Glen Cove Summer Day Camp

Session 3 is off to an exciting start at the YMCA at Glen Cove! Campers jumped right into two weeks of fun with an incredible lineup of activities, from swimming and outdoor field games to creative crafts and team-building adventures. With beautiful weather all week long, everyone enjoyed spending plenty of time outside, staying active and making new friends.

Our Kiddie and Youth campers had a blast celebrating fun theme days, including Favorite Book Day, where campers brought their favorite stories to share, Retro Day, and First Responders Day, which gave campers the opportunity to learn about and celebrate our everyday heroes. The excitement continued during Carnival Day, where campers enjoyed classic carnival games, fun activities, and exciting rides that made for an unforgettable day.

Our Pre-Teen campers were on the go all week with exciting trips to Morgan Park, Empire Adventure Park, and Xplore Commack, where they challenged themselves,  explored new places, and created lasting memories with their friends.

YMCA East Hampton RECenter Summer Day Camp

Another exciting week was in the books at the YMCA East Hampton RECenter Summer Day Camp! Our Kiddie and Youth campers stayed busy with arts and crafts, active games in the gym, and plenty of fun cooling off on the waterslide. Campers also enjoyed a special visit from Wellness by Nature, where they learned about healthy living through engaging, hands-on activities.

Camp spirit was on full display during Superhero Day, as campers came dressed as their favorite heroes for a day filled with imagination and fun. They also had an exciting in-house visit from the Mad Scientist, where they participated in entertaining experiments and discovered the science behind some amazing reactions.

Our Pre-Teen and Teen campers enjoyed exciting off-site adventures with trips to the beach and Dave & Buster's, making memories with friends while enjoying some summer fun outside of camp.
