Our last camp session is here :(        Hello Session 4!

Here we are at the final session of our 2024 Summer Camp Session. Our campers continue to make new memories, have fun and enjoy outdoor fun. We begin to say our goodbyes to counselors returning to school and to new camp friends. We start to look forward to the excitement a new school year brings. We won't forget the friends, fun and memories we experienced together. We continue to enjoy these final days of our summer camp time together and look forward to seeing you all again.

This week, we announced our Huntington and Glen Cove camp locations have added an additional week of fun (Aug. 26) before the school year begins. Registration for this week can be added in your parent dashboard.

Great South Bay YMCA Summer Day Camp 

Rocking Session 4 with some super fun activities. This week, the Islanders street team came for some fun activities. Our campers also received some fun merch from them. The campers enjoyed their time in the bouncy houses and trying to shoot pucks into the goal!  Our campers are enjoying the day for our “H2WOAH! Fun With Water” camp session! Water Balloon Fun!! Totally Tubular! 

YMCA at Glen Cove Summer Day Camp 

We had a giant water balloon battle! Our teens and preteens went to Q-Zar. Our kiddie campers had a foam party with our giant bubble-maker. Spiderman returned to camp for our superhero day! Thank you for all our little superheroes who sported their suits to camp. Our teens had a memorable trip to play paintball, and a Mets game. Our preteens enjoyed seeing Despicable Me 4.

YMCA East Hampton RECenter Summer Day Camp. 

It's the last week of camp for our East Hampton Campers. :( Our campers enjoyed playground time and using sidewalk chalk. They tested their skills with sports including baseball and soccer. Our campers worked on their passing, scoring and dribbling. Plus, There is always time to learn new swim skills. During pool time, the campers have made so much progress with strokes and back floating. Kids are enjoyed some water activities. They have to work together to keep the cups in one piece and not spill the water. The campers also learned about music notes and then played some instruments.

Huntington YMCA Summer Day Camp 

Session 4 kicked off with excitement and energy!

Our campers jumped right into the fun and the camp is buzzing with enthusiasm. We're thrilled to see everyone making new friends and creating unforgettable memories. It was filled with laughter, teamwork, and new discoveries as our campers embraced every moment.  Our campers took on the thrilling Grit Ninja obstacle course, testing their upper body strength, agility, and balance. The Slime Machine Truck paid a visit, and our kiddie campers had a blast getting their hands messy with gobs and gobs of colorful slime. It was a day full of sticky, squishy fun! Our Pre-Teens and Teens had an unforgettable day at Citi Field, cheering on the Mets! From the crack of the bat to the roar of the crowd, they had a blast soaking in the excitement of the game. Go Mets! Our campers are having a blast, enjoying every moment of summer fun and adventure.

Patchogue Family YMCA  Summer Day Camp 

Session 4 has been off to a great start in kiddie camp. Our campers have been enjoying fun with crafts, adventure zone, swimming, outside time and so much more! Our Pre-teens had so much fun playing with the animals at the Holtsville Ecology Site! Our campers showed off their skills in a talent show.  We can't believe we only have one more week of summer camp! We will be making the most of every day!
