Can you believe we've already reached the end of Session 1 of YMCA Summer Day Camp? What an incredible start to the summer! From exciting field trips and creative projects to swimming, games, and making new friends, our campers have packed so much fun into these first two weeks. As we wrap up Session 1, we're already looking forward to everything Session 2 has in store—because the fun is just getting started!

East Hampton RECenter

Our Kiddie Camp and Youth Camp campers put their creativity to work at the arts & crafts station and builder station, creating imaginative masterpieces and unique builds. Kiddie campers also had a blast in the gym playing games with friends, while Youth Camp enjoyed building incredible creations with magnetic tiles.

Our Pre-Teen and Teen Camp campers headed out for an exciting trip to Dave & Buster's, where they enjoyed friendly competition and plenty of fun in the arcade game room.

To beat the summer heat, our Kiddie and Youth campers cooled off in the pool while continuing to build confidence and improve their swim skills.

Great South Bay YMCA & ACLD

Rain or shine, the fun never stops!

Our Kiddie and Youth Camp campers enjoyed a rainy day filled with games in the gym and creative arts & crafts activities.

At ACLD Camp, campers started the day with pool time, water games, and outdoor activities before moving inside when the rain arrived. The fun continued with musical chairs in Dance, bedazzling projects in Arts & Crafts, and testing out new cameras during Photography. It was another day filled with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

Our Islanders, Panthers, and Bruins groups enjoyed an exciting fishing trip aboard the Yankee III, where they even caught one keeper fluke! Meanwhile, the Red Wings and Sharks stayed on site for a fun-filled day of camp activities.

Youth Camp and Sports Camp visited many of our specialty program areas, while Teen Camp explored the Deer Park Outlets and enjoyed the new Minions movie.

Huntington YMCA

Even with the rainy weather, our campers enjoyed a fantastic day indoors!

Campers got creative with arts & crafts, challenged themselves during STEM activities, played GAGA in the gym, and spent quality time with friends. They also worked on their swim skills, enjoyed the playground when the weather cooperated, bounced on the inflatables, and participated in many other exciting camp activities.

Our older campers had an unforgettable week as Pre-Teen and Teen Camp headed to the movies and cheered on the New York Mets, while our Tens campers visited Plaster Kraze to create colorful pottery masterpieces.

Patchogue Family YMCA

Rainy days couldn't slow us down at Patchogue!

Our Kiddie Camp campers climbed, explored, and played in the Adventure Park, cooled off in the pool while practicing their swim skills, tackled fun agility exercises, and got creative with arts & crafts.

Our Youth Camp campers enjoyed a special in-house performance from Magic by Amore, where they were amazed by an interactive magic show filled with laughter, surprises, and plenty of fun. Campers also had the opportunity to spend time with the Girl Scouts, who joined us for exciting activities and memorable experiences with our campers.

Our counselors even joined in on the fun! Campers watched as our staff went head-to-head in the ultimate battle: Hot Wheels vs. Barbie. It was a fun-filled competition that put our counselors’ creativity and teamwork to the test!

Our Pre-Teen and Teen Camp campers had an action-packed week full of adventures, including trips to the bowling alley, No Limit Ninja, the New York Mets game, and Topgolf.

YMCA at Glen Cove

It was another exciting week at the YMCA at Glen Cove, filled with creativity, adventure, and plenty of camp spirit!

Our Kiddie Camp campers got creative by making colorful handprint art and decorating with chalk. Our Youth Camp campers took their adventure to new heights as they soared through the air on the zipline!

Campers also enjoyed some of their favorite themed days, including Disney Day and Wet & Wild Day, filled with fun activities, laughter, and memories with friends. The week kicked off with Camp Trivia, where campers tested their knowledge and showed off how much they know about camp!

Our Pre-Teen and Teen Camp campers had an exciting week of adventures, including a trip to Morgan Park and cheering on the New York Mets during a fun-filled game day.
